Tucked between the sunroom and the kitchen is the Butterfly Grotto. This area was planted with shrubs and flowers which attract butterflies. Here you can find large white flowered buddlea mingling with purple bougainvillea. There is also trompe l'oeil hidden away in the grotto. It is a garden within the garden, a place where you can find a symphony of color--soft pinks, apricots, gentle yellow, lilac, plum, shades of crimson and shades of white.
